This unit is not designed for specialist LLN practitioners. It is a general awareness-raising unit that is designed to allow practitioners to answer a number of key questions that contribute to the quality of their training and assessment practice. These questions are:
The unit addresses language, literacy and numeracy issues within learning and assessment practice and specifies the competency required to recognise the language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) demands of training and assessment and tailor training and assessment to suit individual skill levels, including accessing relevant support resources.
On completion of this unit of study, you will gain the skills and knowledge that trainers and assessors must possess to provide appropriate instruction and assessment to learners with language, literacy and numeracy needs within their vocational program, drawing on the expertise of relevant professionals as required.
Sufficient literacy, numeracy and computer skills to complete the course. Access to an internet connection and computer.

The cost of this course is $345.00UNIQUE STUDENT IDENTIFIER: Each participant enrolling in a course will need a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number to obtain their certificate or qualification when studying nationally recognised training in Australia.
