What is Technical Security?
Technical security involves the installation, maintenance and modification of security systems, CCTV systems and associated cabling. It can cover a range of different technologies from stand alone alarm systems to fully integrated access control and IP CCTV.

Course Delivery Method
Face-to-face twelve (12) days: This course is made up of five (5) days of Restricted / Open Cabling, five (5) days of alarm installation and two (2) days of CCTV installation. As this course is broken up into three (3) components it may be completed over a six (6) month period. The cost of this course is $1650.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): Persons must provide: a) an applicants portfolio report b) a supervisor's report c) and complete an assessment report. The cost for RPL is $600
