Certificate IV in Training & Assessment - TAE40110
The TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment opens up a whole new world of opportunities for anyone seeking a professional career. This entry level qualification for Vocational Education and Training industry can lead to employment as a Trainer / Assessor in educational institutions (e.g. TAFE) and private Registered Training Organisations and in many other businesses that conduct workplace training and/or assessment.
Participants in this course will learn about the Vocational Education and Training industry, develop an extensive knowledge of training and assessment methods and gain practical skills to effectively deliver training and assessment programs.
This course includes ten (10) units. Our standard program covers the following:
Alternate elective units may be available on request or if the participant is submitting an application for Recognition of Prior Learning.
Course Delivery Method
Face-to-Face six (6) day course: This course is conducted Monday to Friday commencing at 8.30am and runs for approximately seven (7) hours each day. Your day 6 is scheduled for a nominated date approxiately 3 weeks after your 5 days of attendance. You will be notified upon enrolment.This program includes a variety of training and assessment methods including presentations, individual and team projects, case studies, written and oral questioning and self-paced study. The majority of the assessments are completed in class, however participants are required to conduct two (2) x 40 - 60 minute presentations in the workplace (or simulated environment) to a group (minimum of 3-4 participants). Participants are encouraged to bring along their laptop computer or iPad to assist with the assessment process, however it is not a requirement.
*The TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment will be superseded on the 5th October 2017 any participant wishing to engage in this course must be aware that all assessments are to be submitted by the 15th September 2017 to allow for the trainer to complete the assessment process as no AQF Certification will be issued after the 5th October 2017.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)TAE40110 Certificate IV Training and Assessment Courses - RPL Application fee: $745. Gap units - any units required to be completed: $100 per unit (up to a maximum of 6 units). Upon receipt of payment, a confirmation email will be sent with the RPL Kit attached for completion. This documentation must be completed and submitted within 2 months of booking.
Once your RPL application is received, an assessor will evaluate it. The assessor will then contact you for a face-to-face meeting to discuss their findings and clarify any other issues. If you are required to complete the full course, a discount will be offered. For more information on the RPL process, please contact our office.

UNIQUE STUDENT IDENTIFIER: Each participant enrolling in a course will need a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number to obtain their certificate or qualification when studying nationally recognised training in Australia. A USI gives you access to your online USI account which will help keep all your training records together. Certificates and Statements of Attainment cannot be issued without this number.
