Traffic Controllers Accreditation Course (Control traffic using a STOP/SLOW Bat) - RIIOHS205A

Overview
Any person who carries out traffic control duties on Queensland roads must be accredited to control traffic using a STOP/SLOW bat.
 

To become an accredited Traffic Controller you need to have successfully completed an approved traffic controller training course delivered by an approved training provider and persons must be:

 

  • 18 years of age;
  • Have held a drivers license for a continuous period of 12 months within the past 5 years; and
  • Be willing to undergo criminal history checks when applying for a Traffic Controller license.

 

On completion of this course the trainee will be able to control traffic on a road reserve using a STOP / SLOW bat in accordance with legislative requirements and guidelines.
