Apply First Aid Incorporating CPR - HLTFA301B

Overview
This course will enable the participant to provide first aid response, life support and management of casualty(s), to the incident and other first aiders until the arrival of medical assistance.

The Pro-System course is comprehensively designed to enable the student to provide emergency first aid assistance in a confident and competent manner.

A statement of attainment will be issued within 5 working days of successfully completing the course. The Statement of Attainment is valid for twelve (12) months for the CPR component and three (3) years for the first aid component. First Aid and CPR Refresher courses available.

Course Content
This course comprises of four elements of competency:

Assess the situation
Apply first aid procedures
Communicate details of the incident
Evaluate own performance

This course requires 1 day attendance.
