White Card

Prepare to work safely in the construction industry - CPCCWHS1001


People undertaking construction work in Australia must have successfully completed the mandatory work health and safety training. This training is a requirement under Work Health and Safety Regulations.  This training is also known as the White Card course or White Card training.

People undertaking this training will learn the requirements of personal awareness and knowledge of health and safety legislative requirements in order to work safely and prevent injury or harm to self and others. 

White Card Course Content

The Prepare to work safely in the construction industry course is comprised of four(4) elements:

  • Identify health and safety legislative requirements of construction work
  • Identify construction hazards and risk control measures
  • Identify health and safety communication and reporting processes
  • Identify incident and emergency response procedures

Course Delivery Method

Face-to-Face approximately 4 hours:  This course is conducted once a month commencing at 8.30am and runs for approximately four (4) hours.  Participants must be able to read and speak English fluently to enrol in this course.  A laminated White Card will be issued upon full payment of the course and successful course completion.  The cost of this course is $100

UNIQUE STUDENT IDENTIFIER:   Each participant enrolling in a course will need a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number to obtain their certificate or qualification when studying nationally recognised training in Australia.  A USI gives you access to your online USI account which will help keep all your training records together.
